I founded Care Directions® because I have seen too many people lose critical recovery time—not because rehabilitation wouldn’t help, but because access was delayed or denied.

After a stroke or serious illness, families are asked to make complex decisions at one of the most vulnerable moments of their lives. Too often, they are left to navigate insurance rules, care options, and denials on their own—without clear guidance or advocacy.

Care Directions® was created to change that.

Our goal is to protect recovery by helping patients and families access the right care, at the right time, in the right setting. We stand beside them—explaining options, aligning clinical need with payer requirements, and advocating when barriers arise.

This work is deeply personal to me. No patient should decline because access to care came too late. And no family should feel alone in a system they don’t understand.
